Method
- Put the pan on medium low heat. Pour the milk and the ghee into the pan. Mix and bring it to simmer.

- Gradually add milk powder, while mixing continuously. It will look granulated in the beginning, but it will gradually smoothen out.

- Cook on medium low heat for 3 minutes, stirring continuously.

- When the mava/khoya starts to bind together and looks smooth, turn off heat.

- Transfer to a bowl and let cool to room temperature. Then crumble with hands to make small pieces.

- Add to your favorite desserts (like this healthier gajar ka halwa or this almond flour halwa) and enjoy.

Notes
The measurements given in this recipe will give 1/2 cup mava/khoya. If you want to make more, you can double or triple the amount of every ingredient. Please note that this might increase the cooking time by 1 or 2 minutes.
